Every stay on this page is in Cidade Velha — a tiny, authentic fishing village on Santiago Island and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It was the first European colonial capital in the tropics; today it still feels lived-in, not touristy: narrow streets, local boats, and neighbours who greet you as you pass. Our dive center sits in the heart of town, just two streets from the cathedral.
